Maisie Williams' response to a sexist newspaper headline was simply perfect
British tabloid Daily Mail recently realised that Maisie Williams is just like her Game of Thrones character Arya Stark and you should think twice before messing around with her. Maisie attended the Summer Masquerade Ball for the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children and while covering the news, Daily Mail used the following headline, “Unveiled: Game of Thrones’ Maisie Williams goes braless in sheer lace dress and quirky headpiece at charity masquerade ball.”
Maisie Williams did not like that the Daily Mail decided to focus on her not wearing a bra, while completely ignoring the fact that she helped raise money for a charity. She took to Twitter and posted a screengrab of the article and re-wrote the headline.

Her alternative title read, “Game of Thrones actor, Maisie Williams, helps raise thousands at a Summer Masquerade Ball for @NSPCC”
Her tweet received huge support from people on Twitter and at the time of writing this article, it has been tweeted more than 35,000 times. She also received support from her fellow Game of Thrones star Lena Headey, who had the following to say:
Yes. Yes you did girl ? #Truthtoldbullshitannihilated https://t.co/lAwzttF5Ek

In the world. I have watched this magic human grow and it’s been a joy and this is only the beginning of her roar in the world

Now that’s the reason why we love Maisie Williams so much.
