Fan theory adds an interesting twist to Littlefinger's death during season 7 finale

Game of Thrones Season 7 finale gave us something we haven’t had in a long while : a major character death. Petyr Baelish, a.k.a. Littlefinger, finally bit the dust this season. We have seen a lot of characters die on the show, while their book versions have stayed alive, making us wonder about their fate. Now, a new fan theory by a Redditor talks about how Littlefinger might die in the books, and how the death might have been mirrored on the show.
The theory was posted by Redditor rumandraspberries, and talks about a character that is book specific : Lady Stoneheart. In case you don’t know, in the books, Catelyn Stark, is resurrected by Beric Dondarrion, and comes to be known as Lady Stoneheart.
She then leads the Brotherhood Without Banners, and starts a rampage murdering anybody associated with the Lannisters, Freys and Boltons, as vengeance Red Wedding. The theory says that in the books, the Littlefinger will have a similar death, except that Lady Stoneheart will be mirroring what her daughters did. Read the full theory below :
It would be some spectacular poetic justice, we think. Do you think this will happen? Talk to us in the comments, down below!
