Fans of House of The Dragon, the prequel to Game of Thrones, fell in love with the morally dubious characters from George R. R. Martin’s Fire & Blood in the first season. The casting was done with meticulous perfection, and there are more characters to come in House of the Dragon Season 2. Actor Tom Glynn-Carney enthralled the viewers as Aegon II, and will now be seen in a BBC thriller alongside Jenna Coleman.

Tom Glynn-Carney to star in The Jetty

What is The Jetty about?

The official synopsis of The Jetty reads:

“In the four-part series, a fire tears through a holiday home in a scenic Lancashire lake town.

Detective Ember Manning must work out how it connects to a podcast journalist investigating a missing persons cold case and an illicit ‘love’ triangle between a man in his twenties and two underage girls. But as Ember gets close to the truth, it threatens to destroy her life – forcing her to re-evaluate everything she thought she knew about her past, present and the town she’s always called home.

“As much a coming-of-age story as a detective thriller, The Jetty asks big questions about sexual morality, identity and memory, in the places that Me Too has left behind.”

What is the release date for Jetty?

The Jetty is still undergoing production and will be available on BBC One and BBC iPlayer once the release date is announced.
