Here’s how House of the Dragon cast members summarized the show in 30 seconds

A lot of fans were of the opinion that House of the Dragon, the prequel to Game of Thrones, had a better first season than the first season of the original program. The story, cinematography, locations, costumes, and landscapes have all received positive feedback from both reviewers and fans. Let’s have a look at what the cast members think about the prequel series.

House of the Dragon cast describes the show in 30 seconds

Before the first season of House of the Dragon aired, the cast and crew were going on a lot of promotional tours. On one such occasion on EW, the cast was asked to describe the prequel in 30 seconds. Here’s how they described it:

Emma D’Arcy – “Women who are friends from childhood who fall out.” And the show is about “really really angry blonde people.”

Olivia Cooke – “quite sexy and…quite dark.”

Rhys Ifans- “Grieving, plotting, lying.”

Matt Smith- “Families imploding and people cheating on one another…Dragons flying in the air, burning boats, burning people, burning cities.”

Steve Toussaint- “The pursuit of power and the pursuit of legacy. There’s an awful lot of violence and intrigue.”

Eve Best- “Ambition and frustration and loss and sadness and death…Oh, and wigs.”

New behind-the-scene pictures of Fabien Frankel (Criston) and Freddie Fox (Gwayne)

We know from the filming updates from Cáceres that Criston Cole, played by Fabien Frankel, will be leading the charge against the Blacks in House of the Dragon Season 2. Gwayne Hightower (Freddie Fox) will be his second in command and a new behind-the-scenes picture via Wake the Dragon fan account shows them in costume together in Cáceres.
