Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon is one of the most highly anticipated shows of 2022. With the series currently in post-production, we can expect the official full trailer to drop anytime soon, especially since the premiere is right around the corner. House of The Dragon will be here in August, and HBO recently released a second teaser trailer featuring the dragons for the first time. The excitement amongst the fans is through the roof, and even the Game of Thrones celebs are looking forward to seeing it.

No one can deny that the main attraction of the prequel series is the great variety of dragons. George R. R. Martin has previously confirmed there will be as many as 17 dragons in the show. So far we have only seen a few glimpses of some dragons, one of whom was Caraxes from the second teaser trailer. House of The Dragon’s official Twitter account has now released a new poster for the series, depicting Rhaenyra Targaryen with her dragon, Syrax.

Syrax is quite distinguishable from other dragons due to its greenish-yellow hide and golden glowing eyes. Rhaenyra claimed Syrax when she was only seven and was her only rider. Syrax was huge, almost as big as Caraxes, but not as experienced in battle as she spent the majority of her life tied in chains.
