Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon is right around the corner, and fans are excited to see what HBO has in store for them. However, one thing is for certain, fans are the most excited about all the amazing dragons, who were displayed in full glory in the new teaser trailer. The last teaser also received a large number of positive reviews, and building up on the hype, HBO is now playing mind games with the fans, who are already taking sides in the “Dance of The Dragons” to come.

Earlier today, House of The Dragon shared two images on two separate social media apps, snaps of what we have already seen in the previous teaser. What is interesting is the caption they used for the posts. On Twitter, their official account posted a picture of Daemon (Matt Smith) and Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy), presumably tying the wedding knot, with the caption: “Royal blood.”

While on House of The Dragon’s official Instagram handle, they posted a picture of Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke) and Criston Cole (Fabien Frankel), with the words: “The determination to win.”

The two posts almost seem like a ‘versus’ post if put together. Besides, why did they decide to publish two different images on two different social media handles? Fans seem to be already taking sides, the Blacks and the Greens, in the comment sections, so maybe it is a strategy to build up hype before a big reveal? Maybe another teaser or the full trailer indulging heavily on the rivalry between the two sides?
