Max (previously HBO Max) is building excitement for the June 16, 2024, release of Season 2 of House of the Dragon. After previously launching three trailers together, fans were looking forward to a final one, which was supposed to come out tomorrow. However, it seemed like the trailer was leaked online before the scheduled WB Discovery event.

The final trailer for House of the Dragon has been leaked

With the second season of House of the Dragon just a month away, things are getting more exciting with every reveal. However, sometimes unexpected and unwanted reveals spoil the fun. For instance, The Warner Bros. Discovery upfront is set for May 15 at 10:00 a.m. ET, and it will feature content for Max advertisers. And the final trailer was supposed to be revealed there, but it was leaked beforehand.

The leak showed glimpses of the throne room, with the Iron Throne being approached by an unknown figure. The camera then pans to Alicent and then Rhaenyra, who announces how it is her duty to protect the realm and how Aegon usurped her throne.

As the armies rally for a war, we see an eager Aegon II hungry for revenge, most possibly after the Blood and Cheese event. About 1 minute of the trailer was leaked an hour before the official launch.

Fans react to House of the Dragon Season 2 trailer leak
