House of the Dragon set photos show massive destruction in a battle scene
Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon is heading towards a massive thunderstorm, with the whole of Westeros getting pulled into it. There will be death and destruction at every corner you see, and fan-favorite characters will begin to drop like flies once Season 2 arrives, something that’s characteristic of Game of Thrones. Recently, a few more glimpses of this destruction was captured in Bourne Woods in Surrey.
War leaves Rook’s Rest smouldering in smoke
According to several reports, the Battle of Rook’s Rest from George R. R. Martin‘s Fire & Blood is currently being filmed in Bourne Woods in Surrey. Sources from UnBoxPHD and Redanian Intelligence managed to catch a glimpse of the aftermath of the battle.

Burnt costume of an important character spotted in Bourne Woods
King Aegon II In Season 2 of House of the Dragon, I will serve as the leader of the Greens and lead the attack on Queen Rhaenyra’s troops. He won’t be able to do that for very long, though, as the Battle of Rook’s Rest will leave him and his dragon Sunfyre disabled. Redanian Intelligence reported seeing a “Aegon”-branded burned costume in Bourne Woods.
