House of the Dragon prepares to film nighttime scenes at Leavesden Studios

House of the Dragon is one step closer to wrapping up production on its second season after wrapping up recently in Bourne Woods, Surrey. This is an extremely quick-moving project with an early 2024 release date; new information about the story, the actors, and the location is emerging every day. Filming continues at Leavesden Studios, and we have another glimpse at a nighttime shooting.

It has been surmised before that House of the Dragon Season 2 is in its last leg of shooting, with barely a month of shooting left. Filming for outdoor sequences has most probably been completed, with the rest of the scenes currently being filmed at Leavesden Studios. Redanian Intelligence recently reported that nighttime filming is currently taking place at the site.

King Aegon II will be one of the central characters in House of the Dragon Season 2. Aegon II’s mount, Sunfyre, will be one of the biggest attractions of the upcoming season. Sunfyre is said to be the most beautiful dragon to have ever existed in Westeros, with golden flames, gold scales, and pale pink wing membranes.
