House of the Dragon Season 2 might finish filming by the end of September

House of the Dragon is one step closer to wrapping up production on its second season after wrapping up recently in Bourne Woods, Surrey. This is an extremely quick-moving project with an early 2024 release date; new information about the story, the actors, and the location is emerging every day. One of the more recent rumors suggests that the second season is closer than we initially expected.

House of the Dragon Season 2 might wrap up production when September ends

The filming for the second season of House of the Dragon was recently completed in Surrey, with more filming currently taking place at Leavesden Studios. According to an insider report via Redanian Intelligence, the Game of Thrones prequel might complete filming its second season by the end of September 2023.

Recently, another significant House of the Dragon Season 2 casting was leaked. In Season 2 of House of the Dragon, Anna Francolini, known for her appearances in Sex Education, Rome, and The Diplomat, will play Lady Mallister. She will appear in the episodes directed by Loni Peristere (episode 7), Clare Kilner (episodes 2 and 5), and others.
