House Of The Dragon makes Google’s top searched shows list for 2022

Looking back at 2022, it is impossible to ignore the impact House of the Dragon had. While it was only natural for Game of Thrones fans to be excited about the series, the HBO series managed to garner new fans as well. Falling prey to the hype on social media, newcomers to the fandom started searching up what all the fuss was about. And once you go to Valyria, there is no going back. All the given facts only mean one thing and that is House of the Dragon was easily one of the most Googled shows of 2022.
House of the Dragon loses the top Googled show crown to Euphoria
Every year Google releases a list that entails information about what the people of the globe were most curious about this year. And the tech genius has divided the list into categories such as celebrities, tv shows, food, and sports. According to Google’s Year in Search 2022 stats House of the Dragon secured the second spot in the top tv show category.
The prequel to Game of Thrones fell second to another popular HBO series titled Euphoria. The high school series lost the best HBO series spot to Games of Thrones once upon a time. And by beating its prequel on the Google Top searches list, it finally got its revenge. Other shows on the list consisted of Moon Knight, The Watcher, Inventing Anna, Dahmer, The Boys, All of Us Are Dead, Sandman, and Heartstopper. Additionally, the masterpiece created by George R.R. Martin and Ryan Condal also received multiple Critics Choice Award nominations. The year is coming to an end, but the achievements of House of the Dragon do not seem to be stopping anytime soon.
