House of the Dragon crew might return to Leavesden Studios for Season 2 reshoots

Game of Thrones fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of House of the Dragon Season 2. Based on George R.R. Martin‘s book “Fire and Blood,” the Game of Thrones prequel introduces a number of new characters from Westeros’ past.

The second season will arrive later this year, however, it seems like fans might have to wait a bit as the show is currently undergoing reshoots.

House of the Dragon Season 2 might undergo reshoots

The teaser trailer for House of the Dragon Season 2 dropped not too long ago, and fans have been highly excited ever since. However, they might have to wait a bit longer as the crew might be preparing for some reshoots.

According to a recent scoop by House the Dragons Twitter account, the crew of House of the Dragon will reportedly return to Leavesden Studios in February to do some reshoots for Season 2.

We are not sure what scenes might be reshot when the production returns to Leavesden Studios in the UK. However, the main filming for House of the Dragon Season 2 finished way back in September last year. Actor Matt Smith who plays Daemon Targaryen recently teased about the release date of the second season, however, it has not been confirmed by HBO, yet.
