House of the Dragon begins reshoots for Season 2

House of the Dragon‘s second season is gradually approaching, undergoing a number of post-production edits to improve the program’s quality. Fans are looking forward to Season 2 and there have been several developments thus far. The series was recently undergoing an ADR session with several of its actors, and now has formally begun the reshoot phase.

House of the Dragon Season 2 reshoot begins at Leavesden Studios

There had been rumors before that the Game of Thrones prequel was to undergo reshoots in February. It has now been confirmed that the crew of House of the Dragon has returned to the Leavesden Studios for reshoots, according to a report by the Redanian Intelligence. The reshoots are expected to take place for 2 to 3 weeks. However, it is unclear whether these reshoots will affect the release date of Season 2.

September 2023 saw the conclusion of principal filming for Season 2 of House of the Dragon

We’re not sure which sequences will be reshot when the project moves back to the UK’s Leavesden Studios. But House of the Dragon Season 2’s primary filming was wrapped up back in September of last year. The second season’s premiere date has been hinted at by actor Matt Smith, who plays Daemon Targaryen; however, HBO has not officially verified this information.
