Game of Thrones stars start arriving in Belfast for Season 8 filming and a picture resolves Season 7 cliffhanger

Game of Thrones Season 7 was an amazing one, and after the longer than usual wait, we can’t say we weren’t pleased. We have heard rumors about filming beginning in October, and it has been teased by the stars of the show in recent interviews. Now, we have been hearing from Game of Thrones fans about stars being spotted in Belfast, Northern Ireland, where a large part of the filming takes place, which means that Season 8 filming has started. Read on!

Fans of the show have been posting online about running into the cast members in Belfast, and it seems obvious that Season 8 filming has begun. Check out the tweets and pictures, below :

Season 7 ended with a giant shock as the Night King finally took down the wall with the help of undead Viserion. The scene was one of the most intriguing ones, and we saw Tormund Giantsbane, and Beric Dondarrion run for their lives as the wall collapsed. There was a big debate whether the two survived, especially Tormund, but seems like he did, as the actor that plays the role, Kristofer Hivju, has been spotted in Belfast :

Also seen in the picture isBen Crompton (Dolorous Edd). As far as Beric is concerned, Richard Dormer, who plays the role, hasn’t been spotted yet, but we’ll keep an eye out!
