Game of Thrones’ Richard Madden to play twins in new thriller Killer Heat

The year 2023 has been proving itself to be quite fruitful for Game of Thrones celebrities, as well as Game of Thrones fans. For one, our beloved actors from the show are grabbing some of the most sought-after roles in the industry, and the fans are getting one spinoff after the other. Richard Madden, who played Robb Stark on Game of Thrones, has recently landed an important role in an upcoming murder mystery film, Killer Heat.

What is Killer Heat about?

Based on the 2021 Jo Nesbø short story The Jealousy Man, the story follows twin brothers who get caught up in a violent love triangle on a Greek island. The Amazon Studios production is being directed by filmmaker Philippe Lacôte, who has previously worked on films like Run and Night of The Kings.

What role will Richard Madden play in Killer Heat?

Game of Thrones star Richard Madden will play both the twin brothers in Killer Heat. The brothers are the core of the murder mystery, in which one of them dies possibly due to a heated love triangle, and the other is blamed for his murder.

Who is in the cast of Killer Heat?

Apart from Madden, the cast also consists of Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who will play the role of the detective called The Jealousy Man, investigating the case. Shailene Woodley will play the love interest of the twin brothers before one of them is killed off. The script is written by House of Gucci writer Roberto Bentivegna and Bridge of Spies scribe Matt Charman.

When will Killer Heat release?

The Amazon Studios movie is still in production, and it will be a while before a release date is announced officially. So far, there has been no hint about the release date.
