The show’s alum Ian Gelder, who played Kevan Lannister in the show, was a treasured member of the group. He recently passed away at the age of 74, after losing his battle with cancer.

Ian Gelder dies at the age of 74

Ian Gelder played Kevan Lannister, Tywin Lannister’s younger brother, in Seasons 1, 2, 5, and 6. He appeared in a total of 12 episodes and his performance was loved by the fans. He also gave stellar performances in shows like Doctor Who, Torchwood and His Dark Materials. His husband, Ben Daniels, revealed the sad news on Instagram of Gelder’s passing due to bile duct cancer.
