Game of Thrones’ Hannah Waddingham to star in The Garfield Movie

There were a lot of memorable characters in Game of Thrones, and some of them stuck with viewers even though they had fleeting television appearances. The Emmy-winning actress Hannah Waddingham enjoyed playing the well-known “Shame” nun during Cersei’s atonement walk. Waddingham will now be lending her voice to the newest on-screen adaptation of the popular comic strip Garfield.

What is The Garfield Movie about?
The movie, which is based on Jim Davis’ well-known Garfield comic series, follows Garfield (Chris Pratt), on an exciting outdoor adventure after an unexpected reunion with his father, a scruffy street cat named Vic, who is voiced by Samuel L. Jackson and has been missing for a long time. Garfield is compelled to leave his perfectly pampered life and join his father for a hilarious, high-stakes heist, with his dog buddy Odie by his side.
Mark Dindal directed the animated film, which also stars Hannah Waddingham, Ving Rhames, Nicholas Hoult, Cecily Strong, Harvey Guillén, Brett Goldstein, and Bowen Yang. Paul A. Kaplan, Mark Torgove, and David Reynolds wrote the screenplay.
When will The Garfield Movie be released?
The Garfield Movie is coming to the theatres on May 24, 2024.
