Game of Thrones’ Hafthor Bjornsson responds to Tyson Fury’s challenge for a fight
Game of Thrones has had a lot of iconic characters over the years, but if we’re speaking in terms of physical strength, The Mountain wins without a doubt. Hafthor Bjornsson, former strongman-turned-boxer has previously won the title of the World’s Strongest Man. After recently defeating his long-time rival Eddie Hall at the World’s Heaviest Boxing Match, Thor is on a roll, continuing his path of destruction and calling out fighters to the ring such as Conor McGregor. His fame has caught the attention of many, including British professional boxer and two-time world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, aka the ‘Gypsy King‘.
Thor and Fury are the two biggest giants in the world of professional boxing today, while Fury has had tonnes of experience, Thor has had an impressive debut. In one of his more recent Instagram stories, Fury decided to take the fight to Thor by openly issuing a challenge. He posted a picture of Thor along with the caption: “I wonder if Thor Bjornsson can take a crashing right hand to that big jaw? Who would have Thor’s hammer? Would this mountain be too big to climb?”
In his reply, Thor wrote, “What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object? Maybe we’ll find out.”
