Freddie Fox (Gwayne Hightower) returns to play an MI5 agent in Slow Horses Season 3
One of the greatest things about the Game of Thrones television series has always been the character casting. George R. R. Martin, the father of the GOTverse, is impressed too. House of the Dragon Season 2 is similar to its predecessor in that a number of well-known actors have joined the cast. Actor Freddie Fox, who will be playing Ser Gwayne Hightower in Season 2, is also starring in the new Apple TV+ series Slow Horses.

What is Slow Horses about?
The spy thriller TV series Slow Horses for Apple TV+ is based on the same-titled novel series by British novelist Mick Herron. The show centers on a group of MI5 agents from a division known as “Slough House,” where all of the disgraced operatives wind up and are called “Slow Horses,” a pejorative phrase inside the intelligence community. Season 3 will be premiering on November 29.
Who is in the cast of Slow Horses?
The series has received much critical acclaim and stars many well-known actors. Gary Oldman leads the show as the notorious Jackson Lamb, the head of Slough House. A number of Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon actors are part of the show too, including Freddie Fox, Olivia Cooke who was a part of the cast in season 1, Jonathan Pryce, and others.
What role does Freddie Fox play in House of the Dragon?
The brother of Alicent and son of Otto Hightower, Gwayne Hightower was a knight of House Hightower and a member of King’s Landing’s City Watch. Freddie Fox plays the character in the show. Ser Criston Cole and a Hightower knight appeared to be having a furious argument in recent picture leaks from the House of the Dragon Season 2 sets. The identity of this knight turned out to be Gwayne Hightower, a well-known character from the Dance of the Dragons.
