Fans spot a glaring CGI mistake in House of The Dragon Episode 3

Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon is currently one of the most talked-about shows across all television networks. And even though the series has largely amazed fans with its superior quality, rich storyline, and breathtaking scenery, the show itself is far from perfect. In the most recent episode of House of The Dragon, titled ‘Second of His Name‘, eagle-eyed fans spotted a silly mistake that shouldn’t have been there given the show’s enormous budget and pre-production preparation.

In the third episode that aired on Sunday, the storyline fast-forwarded to three years. A lot has happened during that timeline, but it is easy to guess what is happening on-screen. The War for The Stepstones with the Triarchy has taken a very ugly turn, while things aren’t any better back at King’s Landing. In one of the scenes during the feast at King’s Landing, King Viserys Targaryen is seen wearing gloves. And in another, we see that he has lost two of his fingers. However, there is one more sequence, that stands in between the two.

As spotted by some clever viewers, in the scene where Viserys is handing out his message to Daemon via Ser Addam, we see Viserys has all five of his fingers. Two of them are greened out, meaning they should have been green-screened and should’ve been invisible to the public eye.

It is very likely this mistake will be edited out very soon, so it might not appear in future viewings. Did you spot the CGI mistake during your first watch? Tell us in the comments below!
