Filming
Fabien Frankel (Criston Cole) to film an important battle scene on the set of House of the Dragon in Surrey
The first season of Game of Thrones‘ precursor House of the Dragon was a roller coaster journey that ended in a tragedy last year. Fans and critics have praised the show’s casting, costumes, and general mood, and let’s be honest: the actors and crew deserve it. The latest development from the set of Season 2 shows a major battle about to take place, and Ser Criston Cole (Fabien Frankel) will be a part of it.
Criston Cole’s camp set up near Bourne Wood
It has been known for some time that House of the Dragon is doing some outdoor filming in Surrey. In one of the locations called Bourne Woods, a battlefield set was being constructed by the crew. A picture of a prop was also seen that had the words “Rook’s Rest Cole’s Camp” written on it. This means that a part of the battle will be filmed here, and Criston Cole will be fighting in it, which is also in agreement with the book.
