Experience the mythical world of Westeros in Natural History Museum of L.A.’s House of The Dragon exhibit
Game of Thrones is undoubtedly one of the biggest shows to ever grace the television screens. The series is easily recognizable as a pop culture icon, whose fandom transcends geological boundaries. The TV show was based on George R. R. Martin’s famous novel series A Song of Fire and Ice, which in turn was heavily inspired by medieval history. However, the two will be coming together at the Natural History Museum of L.A. County’s upcoming exhibit: ‘House of The Dragon: The Targaryen Dynasty‘.
The Natural History Museum and HBO Max have joined hands to present a new, one-of-a-kind mystical experience exploring the lives and legends of the HBO original series House of the Dragon. Visit the mythical world of Westeros, the Targaryen Dynasty, and the dragons that ruled beside them. Attendees will be the first to see new costumes and props from the series and have the chance to sit on a replica of the new Iron Throne.
Featuring original costumes, series memorabilia, special programming, and more from the new HBO original series, “#HouseOfTheDragon: The Targaryen Dynasty” will remain on view through September 7!

Through related digital and public programming, the museum will also explore the relationship between dragons and the real-life creatures that may have inspired them. House of The Dragon’s official Twitter account also welcomed the event with the words, “The history and secrets of House Targaryen await.”
