Max Wrottesley (Ser Lorent Marbrand) feels lucky to have worked with Emma D’Arcy

Wrottesley portrays Ser Lorent Marbrand, a member of the Queensguard. In Season 1, he pledged his loyalty to Queen Rhaenyra; in Season 2, he will play a more significant role. Wrottesly stated in a recent interview:

“I’m really lucky to work with people like Emma who is extraordinary and always, you know, turns up to work so prepared and so ready to kick ass…The pressure is not on my shoulders, the pressure is on the big leads and on [showrunner Ryan Condal] and the people who are kind of, I suppose carrying it. So for me, it’s just been a joy to be a part of [this]. More pressure like this, please. I’ll take plenty more.”
