With Season 2 of House of the Dragon set to release on 16th June 2024, Max (formerly HBO Max) is ramping up the anticipation. The streaming service has just announced the Remix Challenge — a fan contest to remix the iconic theme song to Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon, to win $10,000.

The Game of Thrones theme is one of television’s most iconic opening themes. It was so loved that HBO also decided to use the same theme for House of the Dragon. Now, music enthusiasts can put their own spin on this legendary theme, thanks to Max’s House of the Dragon Remix Challenge.

Max teamed up with Beatport, Loopcloud, and LabelRadar to present this opportunity to music enthusiasts and fans. The network is offering a whopping $10,000 as the grand prize.

To enter, participants must go to the Loopcloud official website and follow three easy steps:

  • Claim the Main Theme by downloading it.
  • Use Loopcloud to assist with the remix. The website offers a free month with the code DRAGON if you need an account.
  • Submit your remixed track by May 29th, 2024.

The prizes for winners and runners-up are nothing short of spectacular. The grand prize winners will receive a $10,000 cash prize. Prizes for the runners-up include an opportunity for an official release on WaterTower Music. Other prizes include free memberships to Beatport Pro and Beatsource Pro, as well as free LabelRadar credits.
