Game of Thrones adorned the crown of the best TV show of the 21st century, and the crown was star-studded with some of the best talents across the planet. Emilia Clarke, who played Daenerys Targaryen, is definitely one of them. Clarke has worked in some of the most famous media franchises in the world, from Game of Thrones to Terminator to Star Wars, and will be joining the MCU very soon. According to a leak last year, it was revealed Clarke was to play Abigail Brand. And she looks very excited about her MCU debut.

Clarke told IndieWire, “I’m genuinely having a wicked time on Marvel, though, they’re absolutely brilliant.” The Secret Invasion trailer was released in 2023, and her role in the series looks pretty intense.

She went on to talk about her future projects. She said, “The thing that I want most for the rest of my career is to work with as many auteurs and filmmakers in the independent film space and be as creatively fulfilled as I possibly can be. And I’ve had access to some incredible experiences and been able to work with some astonishing people. I absolutely adore high concept ideas and material. That’s the stuff I really enjoy reading as well, kind of magical realism. I think that’s where the joy and of storytelling comes into its own. When you are able to give someone a world that is not our own to explore incredibly big philosophical ideas. To do as many of those as I possibly can moving forward would be excellent.”
