“I don’t think I would find it helpful,” says Emma D’Arcy about reading House of the Dragon fan theories
The Rhaenyra Targaryen actress is trying to stay away from the discourse.
House of the Dragon season 2 has been delightful for all fans of thrill and chaos. Waiting for weekly episodes is a pain. However, everything is worth it for the ethereal drama and plot twists brought on by every chapter. From Emma D’Arcy’s surreal performance to Aemond’s tricky traps, House of the Dragon season 2 has been everything fans hoped for and more.
In the meantime, fans keep themselves busy by theorizing about the story and guessing what could happen next. Reddit and X are platforms filled with threads of fans discussing the potential future events of House of the Dragon season 2. While many people would be interested in finding out what fans have to say, Emma D’Arcy believes otherwise.

Emma D’Arcy shares if they ever read Reddit for House of the Dragon

Playing Rhaenyra Targaryen on House of the Dragon, Emma D’Arcy has garnered global fame. The actor has previously worked in various movies and shows. But, the attention and appreciation they have received for the HBO show is phenomenal.
The actor seems to have an interest in guessing what happens next themselves. D’Arcy shared with British GQ that they don’t usually go on Reddit to see what the fans are theorizing about the series.
“I don’t think I would find it helpful, I don’t think it’s for me. I really enjoy theorizing about the show, and about the story, and about how certain events unfold, and the implications of those events. And it may be that in some places my sense of things is at odds with a theory offered by people in the community. And I have no interest in those things bashing up against one another.”
D’Arcy has a point since they need to steer clear of such conversations and protect the sanctity of the show. It’s easy to get pulled into debates that can offer differing views and ruin the fun for everyone. Nevertheless, it’s great to know D’Arcy is a fan of the story too since they too theorize about the HBO prequel.
