Did Maisie Williams just drop a hint about how Game of Thrones ends?
We all know that Game of Thrones – one of the the best TV series in the history of television – all thanks to GRRM, the show creators David and Dan, and the amazing cast and crew, is coming to an end for good.
All cast and crew members recently attended a wrap-up party to celebrate the series coming to an end. Almost all cast members have completed filming their scenes for the final season except for Kit Harington and Maisie Williams – who recently posted an image on Instagram, with the caption:
“goodbye belfast. goodbye arya. goodbye game of thrones. what a joy i’ve had. here’s to the adventures to come #lastwomanstanding #barely #immasleepforthenextfouryears #justkiddingidontsleep”
Maisie’s post is enough to infer that she has completed shooting her scenes for the final season. She has even used the hashtag “#lastwomanstanding”. What could this possibly mean for the future of the she-wolf of Winterfell in the final season? Would she be the only woman surviving the long night? Or, was this hashtag used to indicate that she’s the last major female character to complete filming for season 8?
Even Lena Headey, who plays the antagonist – Cersei Lannister in the show commented on her post, “QUEEN”.
So, what does this post of Maisie mean? Would Arya end up becoming the “Queen” of the Seven Kingdoms, just like how her idol, Nymeria ruled over Dorne or was it just a random reference? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section down below.
