Cáceres to host the second edition of ‘City of Dragons’ this fall

Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon completed its first season last year, and now the long wait awaits for the second installment in the saga of the Targaryens. Filming has yet to begin officially, and it has been confirmed by many sources that it will take at least a year or two for the series to finally make a return. Meanwhile, all the prominent locations where House of The Dragon was filmed, have been gearing up to welcome the show’s cast and crew, with Cáceres hosting the ‘City of Dragons’ fest, which will return for a second edition in fall.
This is the second time Cáceres is hosting the City of Dragons, the first one was back when the first season was still filming. Not only does it help to confuse curious onlookers who might want to leak a snap from the set, which happens anyways most of the time, but the festival also provides the cast and the crew with much-needed breaks.
As reported by Los Siete Reinos, the Cáceres City Council made it official at the Extremadura Turismo stand on the Cáceres City Council panel within FITUR, the largest Spanish tourism fair and international benchmark.
