Bella Ramsey says The Last of Us Season 2 “will top” Season 1

Pre-production for the second season of HBO’s megahit series The Last of Us has already begun. Unquestionably, the series has succeeded beyond many predictions, making it one of HBO’s most costly yet unquestionably successful endeavors. Now that the strikes are over, all efforts are spearheaded toward filming Season 2, which according to the show’s star Bella Ramsey, will be even better than Season 1.

Ramsey knows that fans are anticipating The Last of Us Season 2, and just like the video game, the adaptation might also face controversies. In an interview with LADbible, they said, “I know that that’s like the big fear, that all of us working on the show, and probably the rest of the world have, is that season two isn’t gonna be as good as season one.”
“But I have a lot of faith in the creators. And I think they’re spectacular. So I think I think we’re going to do great, I think we will top it.”
The Last of Us to begin filming Season 2 in February
Showrunner Craig Mazin disclosed the start date of production during an event called A Night in the Writers’ Room. Emily Longeretta, senior TV features editor at Variety, oversaw the discussion, which featured writers from well-known drama shows. Filming for The Last of Us’ second season will begin on February 12.
