Interview
Bella Ramsey is unaware of Oberyn Martell’s fate, while Pedro Pascal loves Lyanna Mormont
The tale of the Game of Thrones season 8 controversy still lives in the minds of die-hard fans. It has been nearly three years since HBO’s money-making mint wrapped up filming, but people can’t stop talking about it. However, the show had its moments, which made our jaws drop and eyes squint, turning us into the fans we are today. No one who has gone through the entire series can forget Oberyn Martell’s head getting smashed like a melon by the Mountain, or Lyanna Mormont taking down a huge wight giant with a dragon glass. However, things are quite different among the show’s alums themselves.
Game of Thrones co-stars Pedro Pascal (Oberyn) and Bella Ramsey (Lyanna Mormont) have reunited once again in HBO’s upcoming zombie-infested series The Last of Us. Though the two never met on-screen on Game of Thrones for obvious reasons, they have formed a great bond while working on the soon-to-arrive video game adaptation. In a recent interview with Rotten Tomatoes Pedro and Bella were asked if they liked each other’s characters, and their response was as follows:
Pedro: I watched the show before I got on that show [Game of Thrones] and continued to watch it after I departed and was able to meet and fall in love with Lady Mormont like everyone else. So yes, I was a little fanboy. [Looking at Bella] Don’t even say that you watched my season.
Bella: I didn’t.
Pedro: Ha! I knew it!
