Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon completed its first season last year, and we might have to wait for at least a year for the second season to arrive. The next big thing on HBO’s calendar is the TV adaptation of the popular game The Last of Us. Headed by two Game of Thrones alum as the leads, Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie, it is one the most highly anticipated projects of 2023 and will be airing on January 15, 2023. Pedro and Bella recently bonded over their Game of Thrones roots, crediting the show as the platform that made them who they are today.

In a recent interview with IGN, the two were asked if their Game of Thrones connection was ever discussed come up during filming, to which the two happily nodded and said that they come “from the same home, the birthing place.” Pedro said, “Yeah, we were birthed from the same world of violence.” Ramsey followed with, “That’s HBO too.

Pedro added further, “Carolyn Strauss was our boss and no one could ask for a better one. But it is sort of a bond that we have because for me that was the biggest job that I’d ever gotten and it was the first job that you [Ramsey] ever got. And neither one of us would be here if it weren’t for Game of Thrones.”
