A Game of Thrones extra gave up law school to become a porn star!

Game of Thrones is one of the most popular shows on the planet, and the effort that goes into picking the cast, right down to the extras, is tremendous. Being as vast as the cast is, there are bound to be a few actors which stand out, some way or the other. One example is Sibel Kekilli, who played the role of Shae on the show, actually used to work in adult films before. Now we have an actress who worked as an extra on Game of Thrones, and then decided to take up a career in porn. Read on!

We’re talking about Ella Hughes. She played a Volantene prostitute, “The Broken Man”, in Season 6 of Game of Thrones. She has leveled up to starring in pornographic movies, and has gathered quite a fan following. She even put her legal career on hold for the same. She had no plans to be a porn star, but a lawyer instead, as she tells BBC :

“It wasn’t my original intention to get into porn, my original intention was to do a law degree. I’m halfway through that, I have postponed that for now. I did a stint doing lads’ mags, then it kind of progressed from one into the other… My love for my job conquers all critics. For me I almost kind of don’t care, because my love for my job kind of outweighs them, it conquers all.”

Ella now makes a living starring in porn films, selling lingerie, and doing webcam shows for her fans. She says she used to have self esteem issues, but she says that working in adult films made her a lot more confident than she was :

“Before I got into porn I was a very shy girl, I didn’t even talk to someone on the phone. I hated the sound of my own voice and never thought I was pretty enough. I struggled a lot with weight issues. I never thought in a million years I would be capable of doing something like this.”

Like anybody who has ever done anything, she gets trolled by random people on the internet, as well, but she says it doesn’t get to her as much :

“For me I almost kind of don’t care, because my love for my job kind of outweighs them, it conquers all. At the end of the day I am a businesswoman, I am my own company and if that’s not power to women then what is?“
