‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ Game of Thrones spinoff adds three new cast members
New faces join the anticipated series based on George R. R. Martin’s novellas.
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is currently in production. This show is based on George R. R. Martin’s “Dunk and Egg” novellas. The series follows the adventures of Ser Duncan the Tall (Dunk) and his squire, Egg, who later becomes King Aegon V. The story is set in the world of Westeros, about 90 years before the events of Game of Thrones.

New cast members for A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms
Several cast members have already been announced for ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.’ These include Duncan the Tall and Egg. There have also been casting announcements for Prince Aerion, Baelor Breakspear, Lyonel Baratheon, and Maekar Targaryen.
The show has now added new members to its cast. Steven Calvert will play a Stormland knight, and Rowan Robinson has a role listed as ‘Rowan,’ which is likely a codename. Abigail O’Regan has been cast in an unknown role. Fans are speculating about Robinson’s character. Many believe ‘Rowan’ might be Rohan Webber of Tyrosh, a character from the second novella, ‘The Sworn Sword.’
If Rowan Robinson is indeed playing Rohan Webber, it means the series is already working on its second season. Rohan Webber was Ser Duncan’s love interest and a key character in the story set during the Blackfyre Rebellions.
When will A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms come out?
The production of ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ is underway. The first season will likely wrap up filming by the end of this year, with a release planned for late next year. If the series follows the timeline of the novellas, we can anticipate the second season focusing on ‘The Sworn Sword.’ This suggests that production for the second season might start shortly after the first season’s release, aiming for a consistent release schedule to keep fans engaged.
