Rhaenyra Targaryen’s Queensguard actor completes filming scenes for House of the Dragon Season 2

After completing filming recently in Bourne Woods, Surrey, House of the Dragon is one step closer to finishing production on its second season. With an early 2024 release date, this filming is advancing extraordinarily quickly, and fresh details about the plot, the characters, and the setting are being revealed every day. And we might get to see Season 2 here very soon.

Max Wrottesley (Lorent Marbrand) finishes filming for Season 2

House of the Dragon is one of the very few shows still undergoing filming despite the writers’ and actors’ strikes, and there is a high chance it might finish filming by the end of this month. One of the more recent proofs comes from an Instagram post by actor Max Wrottesley, who plays Ser Lorent Marbrand, confirmed he has finished filming his scenes.

“A Son for a Son” is the first episode of season two of House of the Dragon

Lucerys Velaryon, the son of Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen, died at the end of the first season of the Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon at the hands of his uncle Aemond and his dragon Vhagar. Another son’s death appears to be imminent in the first episode of Season 2, although this son will be from the Greens’ side.
