Max Wrottesley (Lorent Marbrand) finishes filming for Season 2
House of the Dragon is one of the very few shows still undergoing filming despite the writers’ and actors’ strikes, and there is a high chance it might finish filming by the end of this month. One of the more recent proofs comes from an Instagram post by actor Max Wrottesley, who plays Ser Lorent Marbrand, confirmed he has finished filming his scenes.

Lucerys Velaryon, the son of Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen, died at the end of the first season of the Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon at the hands of his uncle Aemond and his dragon Vhagar. Another son’s death appears to be imminent in the first episode of Season 2, although this son will be from the Greens’ side.
