1899 actress Emily Beecham auditioned for the role of Alys Rivers in House of The Dragon Season 2

House of The Dragon Season 1 combined the best of everything we have come to love about the Game of Thrones franchise. Love, lust, loss, fear, blood, deception, and dragons. The first season received an overwhelmingly positive response from viewers and critics, and fans are already excited for the next installment in the Targaryen saga. The series has already been renewed for a second season, and production will begin in Spain very early on in 2023.
According to a recent report by the Redanian Intelligence, 1899 star Emily Beecham recently auditioned for the role of a character codenamed AR, who has some sort of healing abilities. There were two videos that were supposedly leaked, and later deleted by Warner Bros.
The initials heavily imply that the character in question is Alys Rivers, a bastard of House Strong, a wet nurse at Harrenhal, and a bedmate of Prince Aemond Targaryen. She could allegedly see visions of the future and was considered a witch queen by some. Alys was a bastard sired by Lord Lyonel Strong on an unknown woman when he was young.
There are also rumors that Melisandre from Game of Thrones might have been Alys Rivers in the past. Do you think Emily Beecham is the right choice to play Alys Rivers? Talk to us in the comments below!
