James Gunn’s Wonder Woman TV series will be like Game of Thrones set in an island of all women

Game of Thrones wasn’t just the biggest show of the century, it was a huge family and a way of life for so many people for nearly a decade. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, something that not only the fans but the cast and the crew find hard to move away from. That is why even today whenever there’s a new show announced whose timeline is based on medieval or ancient history, it is always compared with Game of Thrones. The DC Entertainment Universe is currently undergoing massive changes under James Gunn, who, after switching over from the MCU, is looking forward to beginning with a clean slate.
Gunn has recently announced some of the projects he will be working on. One of them is a TV series called Paradise Lost, an upcoming HBO Max adaptation of Wonder Woman’s origin story set on the island of Themyscira, a.k.a. Paradise Island, the birthplace of Diana Prince and home of the Amazons.
In a video announcement for the DCU, Gunn explains, “It’s almost like Game of Thrones with Westeros but with all the inhabitants of Paradise Island.”
It is not clear if Gal Gadot will return for the role, especially after Henry Cavill was “not hired” to play Superman once again.

Casterly Rock and Highgarden will play a key role in The Winds of Winter
When I was talking with my wife after the latest episode, I predicted that the Blackfyre Rebellion would be the next subject they tackle. Looks like I might have been close. Personally I’d prefer that they do the Doom of Valyria and the first conquest, or the First Men and the events leading up to the building of the Wall, but those don’t seem to be have enough backstabbing and intrigue for these showrunners.
I just came here to talk about the Blackfyre rebellion, and how I hope they carry through to how Brynden BlackFyre Rivers, Lord Commander of the Nights Watch came to be in a cave north of f the Wall with Dark Sister, known in the GoT series as Bloodraven, the Three Eyed Crow (although he is not that in the books).
Oh, these sweet summer children don’t know if the cold that sweeps south.
#WinterIsComing…
Brynden rivers fought against the blackfyres. So his name def ain’t brynden blackfyre rivers.
The show would be a total bust without the dragons….cmon are you not tuned in to what your audience wants?
I was very disappointed about the dragons. This is House of the Dragon and the dragons shots on screen is terrible. Especially when someone drive them. It’s look like made in studio.. Awful not professional. In Game of Throne they made a better job with that. When Daenerys drive Drogon was super nice , not looking like made-in studio. Sorry but I am waiting better job with the dragons riding.
