Game of Thrones star Gwendoline Christie’s acting resume has exploded into a plethora of wide-ranging roles in some of the biggest franchises. From Hunger Games to The Mandalorian, she has amazed everyone with her acting chops. She left her mark in the DC universe with the highly awaited Netflix series ‘The Sandman’, joining her Game of Thrones co-star, Charles Dance, in the show, and playing a gender-swapped version of Lucifer. Christie recently appeared in an important role in the Netflix hit Wednesday, and she was exceptional as usual.

Talking to Entertainment Weekly about the series in an interview, Christie praised the work of costume designer Colleen Atwood. She said, “It is the first time I’ve ever felt beautiful on screen. Colleen Atwood is rightfully a legend, and what she does is close to witchcraft in terms of transformation. It is an honour of my life to work with Colleen and to work with Tim [Burton].”

She continued, “The way she made me feel was my body felt celebrated and beautiful. Never once did I feel like there was something to hide or something to be ashamed of. She made me feel incredible.”
