Interview
Jack Gleeson (Joffrey Baratheon) reveals the lines that fans quote to him most often

Game of Thrones had its fair share of iconic villains. Whether it was ice-cold Night King, brutal Ramsey Bolton or pure evil Cersei Lannister each one of them made us despise them wholeheartedly. However, there was another character who made us hate him with all our hearts. Joffrey Baratheon! Remember him? Of course, you do! Jack Gleeson, who brought one of the most notorious characters to life on the series, recently made an appearance at the first official Game of Thrones convention, and answered a number of questions that have lingered on ever since the show ended.
On being asked which of his iconic dialogues fans throw at him the most, he mentioned the following three lines:
“I’m not tired!”
“Kneel before your king”
“Bring me his head.”
He also went on to say quite contrary to popular beliefs, he is actually treated quite nicely by the fandom despite his universally hated on-screen appearance. He said, “Thankfully, I’ve never had any negative fan experiences or anything… There’s still a chance if anybody wants to throw a punch. A lot of people come up to me because I guess this rumor started that people were horrible to me on the street or I get attacked… whereas I’ve never had one negative experience.”
Game of Thrones has an amazing and diverse fanbase and we hope to see Gleeson in future projects. Which of the above lines do you think are iconic to Joffrey? Tell us in the comments below!
