Milly Alcock (young Rhaenyra) isn’t sure about fantasy roles after House of The Dragon

Game of Thrones is one of the biggest fantasy franchises of the 21st century, and even though the show’s ending didn’t please all its fans, the cast and the amazing cinematography stand tall as one of the best to have ever been on a TV show. There’s a reason why so many great actors wanted to be a part of the show, the list includes MCU’s Elizabeth Olsen, Stranger Things’ Millie Bobby Brown, and quite surprisingly, Succession star Brian Cox. However, the prequel House of The Dragon’s star Milly Alcock seems to have had her fill of doing fantasy roles after playing Rhaenyra Targaryen in Season 1.

Alcock told the Herald Sun in a recent interview, “It was and still is genuinely life-changing and I am still adjusting and it’s all very strange. But there’s also this element of, ‘This is probably all going to be temporary and it will die down.’”
On being asked about what kind of characters she is looking forward to playing and her future ahead, the young actress said, “I would rather work not a lot and do work that I am really proud of and passionate about. When you sign on to a project you have to get used to talking about it for six months or a year of your life, so you want to make sure you really adore it and I am waiting for that project to come along and surprise me.”
What kind of roles do you think will suit Milly Alcock? Tell us in the comments below!
