Emilia Clarke feels Daenerys was done wrong in Game of Thrones finale: “I’m on her side”
Game of Thrones stars have established themselves really well in the filming industry. Kit Harington and Richard Madden last appeared in Marvel’s Eternals, and now Emilia Clarke will soon be joining them in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Clarke is set to play a mysterious character in Marvel’s upcoming series Secret Invasion. However, her most famous role as Daenerys Targaryen in George R. R. Martin’s TV adaptation of A Song of Ice and Fire will forever remain the closest to her heart.
Three years since the end of Game of Thrones, and like many of us, Clarke continues to look for her closure. She said during the Dream It Fest Q&A event, “I still don’t think Daenerys was wrong. I’m on her side. It’s not fair that he(Jon) gets to live.”
She also said, “I want Daenerys with him. With Jon. They could go to family therapy and fix their issues. Daenerys is a very hopeful character, she has a lot of hopes, and I wished that she was able to achieve that.”
Clarke answered several other questions from the fans, that included her favorite male actor she has ever worked with, to her views on House of The Dragon, and her arrival in possible spinoffs. She said she loved working with Jason Momoa during the first season, adding that he was very kind. She hasn’t watched House of The Dragon yet, she is waiting for the first season to be over so she can watch it all in one sitting. Clarke did admit the prequel looked very exciting to her.
She also played with the idea of her return to any Game of Thrones spinoffs, saying it wasn’t possible for now as Daenerys is dead. What do you think? Will Daenerys ever return to any Game of Thrones spinoffs? Tell us in the comments below!
