Game of Thrones wasn’t just the biggest show of the century, it was a huge family and a way of life for so many people for nearly a decade. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that not only the fans but the cast and the crew find hard to move away from. The new prequel House of The Dragon is following in the footsteps of its predecessor, as the cast members of the two shows have regularly bonded in the past. And Game of Thrones’ Mother of Dragons Emilia Clarke was really excited to see the new heartthrob of the Martinverse, Ser Criston Cole played by Fabien Frankel.

Frankel told PTI in a virtual roundtable interview, “I went to her [Emilia Clarke’s] birthday party a year or maybe eight months ago. I told her I was doing House of the Dragon and she was lovely. She was very excited for me. I’ve got to meet a few of the Game of Thrones cast members in the last three-four months, which has been lovely. They have all been incredibly kind and seem very excited about the show.”

He also praised the stunts coordinator of the House of The Dragon team, “They worked with us closely to get this fight down and that kind of was like a dance… I felt very safe doing it with Matt… There’s such a talented team (on the series) that by the time you’ve got to shoot it, you feel ready. But you’re still nervous because the adrenaline is very high.”
