Netflix’s The Sandman trailer: First look at Gwendoline Christie’s winged Lucifer
Game of Thrones ended nearly two years ago. The cast and crew of the show have moved on to newer ventures. Most have begun working on new filming projects, joining the likes of big production houses such as the MCU and DCEU. Gwendoline Christie, who played Brienne of Tarth on the show, will soon be appearing in one of the highly-anticipated DC shows on Netflix, playing an important role. Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman just released a new trailer for Netflix’s Geeked Week, and Christie looks amazing as a gender-swapped version of Lucifer.
Netflix previously teased Christie’s winged Lucifer looks in a series of posters that were launched a few months ago. In the trailer we see Christie’s Lucifer interacting with Tom Sturridge’s Dream in a psychedelic sequence followed by what appears to be Lucifer’s realm, Hell.

Based on the popular comic book series, the series is described as a “rich blend of modern myth and dark fantasy in which contemporary fiction, historical drama and legend are seamlessly interwoven.” The Sandman follows the people and places affected by Morpheus, the Dream King, as he tries to fix all the cosmic and human mistakes he’s made during his vast existence.
