Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage teases return to the MCU
Actor Peter Dinklage is one of the most familiar faces in the film-making industry currently, and has played several iconic characters over the years. He has managed to break stereotypes, push away boundaries, and solidify his role as an accomplished showman. From playing Tyrion Lannister in Game of Thrones, to starring in his wife’s musical Cyrano, Peter Dinklage has come a long way. He made quite the buzz back in 2018 when MCU’s Avengers: Infinity War was released, and he had an interesting cameo in it. He played Eitri the Dwarf King, the creator of the Mjolnir, Thor’s hammer.
In a recent interview with Empire magazine, Dinklage talked about his possible return to the MCU. He said, “You’ve got to wait and see, don’t you? Maybe you will. Maybe you won’t. The Marvel spies are everywhere. What I love about those movies is their sense of humour, especially Taika [Waititi]’s Thor movies. They’re so much fun.”

With so many Game of Thrones actors popping up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it won’t be a surprise that Dinklage returns as well. With so much going on with Thor’s life right now, he might need Eitri sometime soon in near future, especially if they follow Thor’s Unworthy storyline from the comics.
Do you think Peter Dinklage will return to the MCU? Is there some other role you’d like him to play? Talk to us in the comments below!
