The Night King finally arrives in Game of Thrones: Winter is Coming game’s newest update
Video games and TV shows/movies have often worked hand-in-hand to help promote each other. They also provide the ultimate user experience, where players can live through their favourite films or series. Recently, Game of Thrones: Winter is Coming released its biggest update yet, and it features the show’s big bad villain The Night King.
Game of Thrones: Winter is Coming is a browser-based multiplayer RPG. Released in 2019, the game is based on the Game of Thrones TV series as well as the A Song of Ice and Fire books.
Players take on the role of the ruler of one of the seven kingdoms of Westeros. They can progress by training soldiers, recruiting characters, and then forming an alliance with others.
The newest update brings the Night King to Westeros, who is more than ready to cause freezing torment. The icy terror brings five 500-man White Walker Alliances. In situations where players compete against them, their power is counted in the Rankings.
As the Night King and his army move south, they attack those who stand in their way and turn any regions they have occupied into Barren Land. Players who are unprepared and enter these lands immediately find themselves surrounded by White Walkers and waiting for a rather gruesome fate.

Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon is one of the high priority projects at HBO currently. The production is moving swiftly despite hitting some minor obstacles along the way, as indicated by the regular leaks occurring all over the internet. Recently, some never-before-seen photos from the set were leaked by locals, and for the first time, Matt Smith was spotted in a different styled wig than the one we have been noticing in the last few leaks.
In a recent picture released by House of The Dragon Brasil, Smith was seen rocking a shorter wig, that was tied with a ribbon. A shorter wig might indicate it is a flashback scene, or there are two timelines that the show will focus on during the first season.
Either way, it is interesting to note that majority of the leaks we’ve witnessed so far mostly include Smith, which means Daemon Targaryen will get a lot of screen time in Season 1, probably even more than Rhaenyra Targaryen or Alicent Hightower who are the real instigators of the Dance of the Dragons. It seems like HBO is building a strong foundation for the show, digging into the backstory to build up an amazing series.

The production for Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon is moving rather swiftly, and we might see George R. R. Martin’s prediction about the series’ release come to fruition. Various cast and crew members have been spotted by locals and reporters quite recently, despite HBO’s best efforts to keep the filming under the veil. The cast and the crew were spotted in Aldershot this time, and locals are leaking out quite a few details about the set.
The first clip was posted by Twitter user Blue Eyed Boy, who wrote that the shooting was taking place in the woods at Aldershot.

Another clip was posted by a House of The Dragon fan account which showed a number of horses trotting down a lane, towards the set. They are supposed to be the horses that will be used in the filming.

A few more pictures were posted by the same fan account, which showed a much detailed look at the set. It looks like a huge Targaryen camp, either for a war or a tourney.

Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon is currently one of the top priority projects at HBO. The cast and the crew were recently spotted in Cornwall, and it appears that they are close to packing up. With that being said, they are scheduled to film in Spain from the next week, but HBO is planning one step further. We know that once filming is done in Spain, they’ll move to Portugal, and they’re already looking for extras in Monsanto.
According to Jornal Do Fundao, the production of the prequel to Game of Thrones will be set up in the Monsanto area to shoot between the 26th and 31st of October. For that, they are already looking for extras: men and women, between 18 and 70 years old, who reside at or close to Monsanto.
The advertisement also calls for men to ‘let their facial hair grow’. Extras must be available for long periods of filming, either day or night. Those selected will undergo a wardrobe test days before the start of filming, which will focus on the castle of Monsanto.
