Watch Kristofer Hivju play a double role in new clip from his next series, “Twin”
Game of Thrones launched the career of many actors. Almost all of them have gone on to become famous but arguably none bigger than Kristofer Hivju a.k.a Tormund. Now we have got the confirmation on our beloved Tormund’s next show and it is a drama series called Twin. Read on to find out more!
Ever since his arrival in Game of Thrones, Hivju made people fall in love with his raw character. His acting, his dialogue delivery and particularly his chemistry with Brienne Tarth played by Gwendoline Christie were really appreciated by the audience. He even demanded a spin-off featuring Tormund and Brienne!
Now, as per Winter is Coming, Hivju will be playing a double role in his upcoming drama Twin. We had reported about the show nearly three years ago, and it’s almost here now. The show has been co-created by Hivju himself and is based out of Norway. He plays identical twin brothers — Adam and Erik — who grew up to live very different lives.
We hope for Hivju’s sake that his next show turns out to be a huge success. Actors seldom manage to replicate the success of previous shows and therein lies the challenge for Hivju as well. While the likes of Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams have embarked on their own journies, Hivju has taken a slightly different route.
The series premiers February 4. How did you like the first look from Kristofer Hivju’s next series? Do you feel he can achieve a similar success that he did for the role of Tormund? Let us know in the comments below!
