Kit Harington didn’t even tell Rose Leslie how Game of Thrones ends
October 24th, 1:49am October 24th, 1:49am Abhinav Pathak22, Game of Thrones geek, Passionate Fiction Writer and the author of ‘Gopalkant’s Wife’.
Kit Harington – the actor who plays Jon Snow, married his co-star and on-screen love interest Rose Leslie (Ygritte) back in June. Though now husband and wife, still Game of Thrones stars aren’t supposed to disclose the plot of the series to anybody in advance – which is the same for Harington too. This is the reason why he hasn’t even disclosed the ending of the series with Rose. Read on.
In an interview with the Esquire, Harington revealed for the final season of Game of Thrones he has been strictly told to not disclose the details to anyone. In his own words, he likes “walking around knowing no one knows”. Talking about his wife Rose, Harington said:
“For this, I was like I’m not telling anyone. I don’t think she’s guessed it right yet.”
Well, this time it seems as if the actors are more cautious than the showrunners themselves – one of whom revealed the plot of the Final Season to his wife. And, he is no one other than David Benioff, who shared everything with his wife Amanda Peet. Yet, Amanda has tried her level best to uphold the secrecy. According to her,
“I am scared and uncomfortable when people ask me about it. I am trying to be really good.”
Yet, we are very much aware of the way Kit is good at keeping secrets. Back in 2016, he had confessed at the Jimmy Fallon show that he had told his characters fate in season six to a policeman to avoid getting a ticket for rash driving.
How good do you think is Kit Harington at keeping secrets? Talk to us in the comments section down below.
