The Mountain marries his long-time girlfriend Kelsey Henson

Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, the actor who playsthe MountainA.K.A.Gregor Cleganein the Game of Thrones is absolutely adored by his fans. Not of course for crushing Oberyn Martell’s head like a duck egg but for the fact that he never lets the fans down.

Sometimes he wins the title of World’s Strongest Man, sometimes drags 700 pounds of Double Crispy Colonel Sandwiches for a KFC Commercial, and at times promotes a ‘no to plastic campaign’ with a commercial of Soda Stream alongside Hannah Waddingham (Septa Unella).

Recently enough, much like Kit Harington who got married to his co-star Rose Leslie, Ser Gregor Clegane married his long-time girlfriend Kelsey Henson. The couple shared the moment on their respective Instagram accounts. Starting off with Kelsey, she shared her photo holding Björnsson’s hand with a caption:

Next, Björnsson shared a photo with his newly-wed wife on his Instagram account with a caption,

We all wish Björnsson and Kelsey a happy married life. Also, next-in-line would wishfully be Sophie Turner’s wedding to Joe Jonas, who too had announced their engagement earlier this year. Yet, these things won’t lessen our cravings for the final season of Game of Thrones coming in the first half of 2019, will they?
