Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon Season 2 is slowly creeping close and is ready to hit fans with another jolt of awe, heartbreak, and tears. Just as with its predecessor, fans have exhibited immense affection for this epic fantasy. Though House Stark didn’t get as much attention in the first season, they are sure to be a major driving force in the second. Thanks to the introduction of one of the most adored Starks ever, Season 2 will take us back to Winterfell.

Tom Taylor (Cregan) thanks fans for their support

Taylor, whose involvement in the Game of Thrones prequel was confirmed by his presence at the House of the Dragon Season 2 after-party, recently took to Instagram and shared a story, thanking all the fans for their support and finally confirming the fact that he is in the show. The wolf sticker on his story confirmed the fact that he is playing Lord Cregan Stark.

Tom Taylor and Harry Collett (Jacaerys) are friends in real life

Lord Cregan Stark is the young warden of the North in Fire and Blood, and plays a major role in the Dance of the Dragons. His friendship with Prince Jacaerys Velaryon is legendary, akin to brothers, and reel life won’t be too far from real life. Taylor and Collett are great friends in real life as well, with Collett teasing, and then confirming Taylor’s casting as Cregan with photos of them together.
