The Last of Us sets up base in Vancouver for Season 2

HBO’s The Last of Us is its new record-breaking juggernaut; surpassing television ratings and viewership records with every new episode. The critics and the viewers are highly impressed by the quality of the sceneries, storylines, costumes, and zombie makeup, and it was renewed for a second season even before the finale aired.
Where will The Last of Us Season 2 be filmed?
According to a report by Deadline, The Last of Us has chosen its filming site for the second season to be Canada’s Vancouver. HBO has yet to share details about the upcoming storyline or when production will begin.
Filming of the first season took place in July 2021 in Calgary, Alberta.
How many seasons will The Last of Us Part II be stretched into?
In a recent interview with GQ magazine, showrunner Neil Druckmann confirmed Part II will be stretched over multiple seasons. He said, “It’s more than one season.”
Craig Mazin assured it as well, “You have noted correctly that we will not say how many. But more than one is factually correct.”
Neil Druckmann teases new Season 2 main character
The Last of Us co-showrunner and the video game’s creator Neil Druckmann recently teased a picture of an arm holding a hammer. Fans who are familiar with the game quickly realized who Druckmann is referring to; one of the most controversial characters in the entire series: Abby Anderson.
