Game of Thrones provided a platform for a lot of actors to shoot their careers to the top. It has been more than a year since the acclaimed TV series wrapped up filming. Most of the stars have already moved on to new projects. Rose Leslie, the gorgeous actress who played Ygritte on the show, recently appeared on the new sci-fi series The Time Traveller’s Wife. And she, like many others from Game of Thrones, is thankful to the show for helping her reach the heights of popularity and fame she has achieved today.

In a recent interview with The Guardian, Leslie fondly remembered her time on Game of Thrones. She recalled, “I couldn’t believe my luck: I was standing on the edge of a beautiful mountain with this incredible landscape ahead of me and a camera crew behind me and I was, what, 24? I was having the time of my life.”

She continued, “I feel like I’ve always been able to do this. I feel very fortunate to be able to walk down the road and not get asked to say ‘You know nothing’, but because it happens so rarely, if I ever do get asked, I’ll be like, ‘Yes, of course!’”

Leslie also talked about whether she’d like to work with her hubby Kit Harington again. She said, “We know each other too well. But who knows? Never say never.”
